ELIGIBILITY TO VOTE: Voting is open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia, who have attained the age of majority in his or her state or territory of residence as of the Sweepstakes start date. Voting constitutes your full and unconditional acceptance of these “Official Rules”.
VOTING PERIOD: Voting (“Voting”) begins at 12:00 a.m., Eastern Time (“ET”) May 28, 2021 and ends at 11:59 p.m. ET on June 18, 2021 (“Voting Period”).
CONTEST VOTING INSTRUCTIONS: During the Voting Period, eligible participants are invited to visit https://beefitarian.com/vote and vote for one of five participating cities. Limited to one (1) vote per person, per day during the Voting Period.
MEDIA: The charities, Maryland Food Bank, Freestore Food Bank, Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee, San Antonio Food Bank, and Hope for Hunger Food Bank, have agreed to have their name published online, or in any media entity, announcing their name as the potential recipient of a donation of this Contest.
DONATION: The charity located in the city that receives the greatest number of votes after June 18, 2021 at 11:59 p.m. ET, will receive a beef donation from JBS USA valued at $15,000. All charities will receive a cash donation of $1,000 from JBS USA no matter the vote totals.
GENERAL RULES: By entering, participating or voting, Voters agree to be bound by these Official Rules, and by the decisions of Sponsor, which are final and binding in all respects. Sponsor are not responsible for: (1) any incorrect or inaccurate information or technical failures of any kind, (2) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Contest; or (3) any other computer, network, technical, human or other error, problem or malfunction that may occur in connection with the administration of the Contest, the processing of entries, or the selection or notification of winners. Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify the entry of any individual or organization found to be (a) tampering or attempting to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Voting or any website operated by the Sponsor; (b) using any robotic, macro, automatic, programmed or like entry methods, which will void all such entries; (c) violating these Official Rules or the terms of service, conditions of use, and/or general rules of any Sponsor property or service; or (d) acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass any other person. Sponsor is not responsible for claims, injuries, losses or damages of any kind resulting, in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from participation in this Voting or in any activity or travel related thereto or from any interaction with, or downloading of, computer Contest voting information. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Voting at any time, for any reason.
PARTICIPANT OBLIGATIONS: By Voting, each voter agrees to defend, indemnify, release and hold harmless Sponsor from and against any and all losses, demands, damages, rights, claims, actions and liabilities of any kind arising out of or related to voter’s participation in the Voting or voter’s participation in any related activities (including, without limitation, any property loss, damage, personal injury or death caused to any person(s)). The voter assumes all liability for any injury, death, or damage caused, or allegedly caused, by voting.
PRIZES: The city with the most votes will have serious bragging rights!
DISPUTES: Except where prohibited, you agree that any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of, or connected with, Voting shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate court located in the State of Colorado. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, your rights and obligations, or the rights and obligations of Sponsor in connection with Voting, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Colorado, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of the State of Colorado or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of Colorado.
